J3 - Registration Forms
As we have only just completed the 2007/2008 season these forms will not be available until the club attend the league registration meeting in July, when forms will be purchased by the club for you as a player to register with Race AFC.
When the club is in posession of the J3 Registration Forms, the club secretary will be available for players to complete the forms at training and friendly fixtures throughout the summer.
Also available will be new player licence cards to complete for players who do not currently have a licence or need to renew their current one. If a licence is out of date, still bring it with you so that the league can update their records and assign same licence number.

Race AFC welcomes players of all abilities. Come and enjoy a friendly club and one of the oldest in the Torfaen area, formed 1st December 1905.
The registration process is goverened by the Welsh FA but administered by the Gwent County League. When you register for the club you will be eligible for selection for both First& Second XI.
As a player you will either need a up to date players licence or bring along 2 passport size photo's and the club will apply to the league on your behalf for a new licence, the cost to the player being £8.00, licence will last 5 years.
SUMMARY OF FAW RULES GOVERNING THE REGISTRATION OF PLAYERS:
1) A player may only register for one adult club at a time.
2) A Player may also register for one Sunday club at a time.
3) A player on reaching 16 shall be permitted to play youth & adult football. The youth league is a specifically affiliated league for male players between 16-19.
4) A player is eligible to play for one club at youth and another at senior. The player will need to complete a J3 Adult Non-Contract Registration Form with the senior club.
5) A player may register for a maximum of 3 clubs during the season, but is only eligible to play for 2 of the clubs.
6) Current Player Registration dates for Recreational Level Clubs is: 1st August to 27 March of each year.
7) Transfer: A player will need to complete a J4 Transfer Form.
8) If club send form to be registerd and is received by 5:00pm i.e Friday, a player can the participate in club matches on the Saturday.
