Welcome to the new layout for the Race AFC Website in time for the 2008/2009 season. Race AFC is probabaly one of the oldest clubs in the area having been formed 1st December 1905.

The site will contain club info i.e ground/location, player info as well as statistics from all the club fixtures, all the latest goings on at the club. Player statistics can be viewed on the new stats management system which you will be able to log into as a guest, see Fixtures & Results to test this out, full details providing on how to log on to the new stats service. This service is a comprehensive coverge of all stats which also include stats on games won and lost etc.. when an indvidual player hasen't played. No doubt several of the players will point this out to the managers throughout the season.

The club currently run two senior sides and a very good junior section, which includes two girls teams. The senior teams compete in 2 different league setups, First XI @ Gwent County Level and the Second XI @ Gwent Central Level repectively. Whereas the junior section compete in the Torfaen Junior and Youth Leagues and the Girls in the Newport & District Junior League.

We play our home fixtures @ Coleg Gwent Pontypool, see ground & location for further info. Our clubhouse is Race LSC found on the entrance to the ground.
